The Roleplay History
The snow white valleys that surround the birthplace of human kind form the boundary between two ancient regions: Norddalen and Suddalen. This valley witnessed the housing the first humans and the first evolution of individuals into the tribe of Dalic. It are these ice cold valleys and hills that we know as the cradle of our realm. It is here that our story starts. Some say it was God, others say it were the Gods. Others don’t even bother to wonder where we came from. But what is certain is that in the First era of Spring the Dalic tribes were living in peace in those valleys, near what we now know as Undrefell.
They spread further and further into the surrounding envirnment, and soon a divide was made in language and culture. The Dalic Tribes were now divided in a Norddalic tribe and a Suddalic tribe. Both would distinct into a subculture of the ancient Dalic culture. The Suddalic Tribe segmented in a Firaric and Germanic Tribe once they went more south of the Dalic origin in search of living space. While the Firaric settled at ‘Firar's Hills’, the Germanics travelled away from Suddalen region to settle even further south. In the same Era of Spring the Norddalic tribe would settle in now known Adelburgh, a small fertile valley near the Dalic valleys. The Era of Spring became the Era of Summer, and agriculture was invented as a result of wild grains and animals being collected and domesticated . The population grew quickly and tribes were able to settle for good. The population growth meant more divides, the Norddalic Tribe would give birth to a Nordheim Tribe that went further north. In the south, the Germanics and Firarics would mash into a new Slavic Tribe that would live as nomads in the southern region.
The Era of Fall that followed witnessed war, raids and diseases. The areas where the tribes lived was burdened with misery and pain, that Era would see a lot of destruction and decline. The Era of Fall resulted in the nomads settling down in order to build defences and securing food supplies. The Slavic tribe did so by founding Mozkvaz and pushing back the neighbouring Germanic tribe out of the area, further to the south to obtain more fertile land. In the north the Norddalic Tribe would maintain its valley, even though being harassed by its neighbours like the Firaric and Nordheim Tribes. The Nordheim Tribe would survive with difficulty in the plains and would dissociate in a Govaric Tribe that went higher north seeking safety. The Govaric Tribe would eventually settle in the jungle of Govaria, until now, the furthest known point of civilization in the north.
The Govaric Tribe, went through more splits on their way north. The Gizic Tribe would move east instead of further north and would settle in the dessert. Here they would completely abandon their Dalic heritage behind due to the new environment. Yet the dessert couldn’t support a large population. The Gizic Tribe would settle south and east of their dessert, which resulted in a mix of Firaric and Gizic members in now known Firantzium. They formed the new Byzantic tribe, truely the border between east and west. Gizic tribe members travelled also east into the large unknown dessert, which meant the discovery of the exotic mesa region. A Jesian Tribe would evolve out of this troup and settle their own isolated sub culture in this mesa region. The Jesian Tribe would expand and explore further east to reach the bordering Jungle land where its influence would stop. Over time the Jesians would explore the nearby jungle, taming the dangers of the junge to become the Mungic tribe once settled in it.
The Norlanders would come out of revolutionary Norddalen in 21 A.W, a long time after the Era of Fall, while Nyctoria would be discovered by Shiro Renge in 39 A.W. after years of isolation.
Once The Era of Fall was over and the tribes had developed into nation states and empires, were the pieces set for the new Era of Winter, that would determine the following wars and alliances for a turbulent era to come..
